Between 1841 and 1869 thousands of pioneers made their way west to California. They often set out on foot averaging ten miles a day. The lure of the gold rush and undiscovered riches, the West could not be ignored. But as gold fever subsided, many newcomers turned to pursuing a more enduring wealth born from the the earth, the liquid gold that was California wine.

This distinct blend of Chardonnay, Viognier and Chenin Blanc offers up bright tropical fruit and floral notes balanced with just the right touch of acidity. Together these grapes result in a complexity that not one could have achieved on its own. Much like how the horizon is created by the road and sky, and the pursuit of that which is in our view yet just out of reach.
