  • 2009 Rock & Vine, Cabernet Sauvignon -- The fruit was selected from three ranches located in: Solano County (78%), Napa Valley (14%) and Mendocino County (8%) that showcases why the North Coast is the leader in California for growing Bordeaux varieties. The Solano County grapes highlight the rich and ripe black fruit flavors, while Napa Valley grapes provide the backbone: rich textures and firm well integrated tannins. Finally the Mendocino grapes tend toward dried herbs and a wonderful spice component that rounds out this intensely rich wine.The elegant styled 2009 Rock & Vine exhibits gorgeous aromatics of pure black cherry and cassis interwoven with black tea and toasty oak. Medium bodied, with a solid core of blackberry and dark cherry fruit and hints of tobacco notes followed by great texture, sweet tannins, dense weight, equilibrium and a long finish.



  • 2010 Seven Sinners, Petite Sirah -- In 2010 we decided to re-introduce our Seven Sinners as a Petite Sirah from the Lodi District, an area with a rich and distinctive history for old vines. Luckily enough for us we stumbled upon a family who have been growing rich, dense and intense Petite Sirah grapes for over 50 years.This vintage shows velvety textures upfront followed by deep rich flavors of blackberry jam, blueberry and spice, resulting in a long deep concentrated finish.   • 2009 Parcel 41 Merlot, Napa Valley -- The name Parcel 41 is derived from the original agriculture land assessor's plot number for our ranch in Napa Valley, California. Our limited production Merlot is enormously rich, ripe and concentrated showing layers of blackberry, currant and mocha.Merlot grapes are typically more difficult to grow than Cabernet Sauvignon, which is why the best Merlots are often more expensive.
